Springtime Temps are sure to Light Off a Stellar Trout and Redfish Bite

The Speckled Trout bite in and around Mobile Bay has been up and down says Mobile Bay Fishing Guide Capt LW. This past weekend, the Alabama Coastal Fishing Association (AFCA) held their Monthly Club Tournament. There were a few speckled trout weighed in over 6 pounds with some 5 plus pounders rounding it all out. There has been a lot of anticipation of warmer springtime temperatures which are sure to light off a stellar trout and redfish bite. Also an increased salinity level in Mobile Bay feeder canal waters should have all the inshore species in a friskier feeding mood. The Alabama Inshore Slam Tournament Series kicks off its 2013 tournament season on Saturday, April 13, 2013.
